Consultant Backgrounds

Our business focus is very specific- working closely with sales organisations, contributing to the development of their performance.

Therefore the experience and skills of our consultant team is equally specific.

 Pre-requisites to be part of the SDS team are…

  • Minimum 5 years direct experience of working in a sales / business development role
  • Direct experience of holding a senior sales / marketing position in a national or multi-national company
  • Minimum 3 years experience in consultancy

Collectively we have sales, sales management, business development, marketing management and training management experience. We have held senior sales and management positions in the IT, banking, publishing, telecoms, financial services, manufacturing, electronics, travel and professional service sectors. Our history

 We are a small, focused team. Each of us has a selling and business development role. So we are currently selling practitioners. This is key if we are to have the credibility when working with your sales team.

 In providing consultancy and training services we are “selling” a very specific ‘product’ – the consultant. We both need to be comfortable that there is the right competence and chemistry fit for the relationship to work.
